Roatan’s ONLY Certified Inspectors

You want to be confident about the professional you hire, don’t you?

Ask these questions first:

  • Are they InterNACHI certified?

InterNACHI certified inspectors must meet strict and exacting standards before being certified. If your inspector isn’t InterNACHI certified, they are just looking around your house. (find out more about InterNACHI here.)

InterNACHI’s certification requirements are rigorous and include having candidates pass its extensive online inspector examination, submit detailed essays, and four inspector reports. In addition, inspectors must take 12 courses, 24 hours of continuing education each year to retain their certifications. Every three years, inspectors must retake and pass the online inspector examination to make sure that they stay current.

  • Are they certified in:

    Electrical
    Air Conditioning
    Plumbing
    Septic
    Roofing
    Moisture Issues
    Wood Destroying Organisms
    Drone Inspections for Multi-story

  • How many continuing education hours do they spend annually to stay current?

  • What is their experience in the construction arena?

  • How long will the inspection take? Will they take enough time to be thorough?

  • What is their experience on the island?
